Project Detail
After finding Centurius through Google, Helix Tools commissioned us to design and develop a new consumer facing website. After an initial meeting with the client, we recognised that the client needed the ability to update their own site. Because of this, Centurius proposed WordPress as the ideal platform for their site, where the user friendly nature of the admin system would suit Helix.
The Client already had hosting and email set up, so Centurius were able to create a development sub domain and build the new solution on the client’s server. When complete, the live domain was switched over to the new site within a matter of minutes.
In terms of site design and navigation, we implemented a large homepage banner with supporting text to give clear descriptions of who they are, where they are and what they offer.
To improve the experience of customers on the website, Centurius implemented a brand brochure download area, where visitors could obtain the latest pdf brochure from the Helix supplier network.
Centurius wanted to improve the interaction between customer and client and so integrated Helix social media feeds into the site. We also integrated a sidebar ‘widget area’ which would highlight the latest news and tweets plus the client’s ‘Total Supply Management’ service.
