Valves Online is one of the leading companies selling with catalogues to the Power, Process, Food, Pharamaceutical and Petrochemical industries.

Established in 2003 as a catalogue and internet off shoot from the Stockport based Technica Europe. The company employs numerous staff at various locations throughout the UK and soon to be launched in Europe.

Project Detail

Recommended by word of mouth Centurius were commissioned to design and build a new ecommerce website for Valves Online via the Actinic Ecommerce Software platform. The site was designed and developed to allow quick and easy navigation around the site, whilst presenting the customer with the option to either reach their desired product within a minimum of three clicks.

An attractive flash plug-in was integrated into the software to allow a mini gallery to display on the homepage for initial impact and effect.

Once again the boundaries of the Actinic software were pushed, not just in terms of form but of function in order to give the user a very interactive experience. Custom templates were created to allow multiple different product layout options.
